Stories on High’s live Summer Music Series is back with various musical artists from classic jazz to rock and roll! Kicking off on July 2 with Emily Syring Trio, the Summer Music Series takes place every Thursday from 8 – 11 p.m. until October.
Buffalo Trace & Omakase Experience
An evening with Buffalo Trace’s Master Blender, Drew Mayville
Friday, Septmber 11th at 6:00 PM
Join us on September 11th at 6:00 PM for an exclusive evening with Buffalo Trace’s Master Blender, Drew Mayville. The evening will feature a curated lineup of exceptional whiskeys paired with a chef-curated 7-course omakase dinner. Throughout the evening, guests will gain firsthand insight from one of the industry’s most respected and influential leaders. Each whiskey pour is thoughtfully selected to complement the progression of the menu.
The cost is $300 per person. The evening begins with a Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned and includes whiskey pairings throughout the meal, a chef-curated 7-course omakase, and a Buffalo Trace tasting glass, journal, and pen.
Local Art & Culinary Tour

Experience the heart of Columbus culture in a whole new way! Join us for an exclusive Local Art & Culinary Tour in partnership with the Short North Alliance, where guests are invited to tour Hilton’s $5M collection featuring 450 original works from 128 Central Ohio artists. The tour takes place on Saturday, September 5th at 4:00 PM and will be offered monthly during the Short North Arts District’s Gallery Hop.
Along the way, enjoy four curated pairings of premium wines and chef-crafted bites, each thoughtfully designed to complement the artwork. Finish the evening 28 floors up at Stories on High with stunning skyline views.

Join us for Social Hour at FYR Short North, exclusively at our bar and high‑top tables. Beers from $4, bites begin at $5, handcrafted cocktails at $10 and curated wine flights from $15.
Enjoy favorites from our live-fire kitchen, including Chef Zach’s Great Aunt Pat’s iconic Crab Cake and silky hand‑cut Wagyu, alongside a selection of elevated shareables designed for gathering, grazing, and easing into the night.
Omakase Experience at Stories on High

Immerse yourself in our newest culinary story, and join us at Stories on High to enjoy our Omakase experience. The term “Omakase” translates to “I leave it up to you,” and with this trust, our chefs are free to create a unique and unforgettable dining experience. Your journey will unfold through a series of small plates, where each dish is a chapter that is carefully crafted using the freshest ingredients available.
Our Omakase experience is available nightly. Cost includes a 7-course menu for $85/person [plus tax and gratuity]. Optional beverage paring, curated by beverage director Rustun Nichols is also available. Whole table participation is required for this experience.
