Omakase Experience at Stories on High
Immerse yourself in our newest culinary story, and join us at Stories on High to enjoy our Omakase experience. The term "Omakase" translates to "I leave it up to you," and with this trust, our chefs are free to create a unique and unforgettable dining experience. Your journey will unfold through a series of small plates, where each dish is a chapter that is carefully crafted using the freshest ingredients available.
Our Omakase experience will be available on Friday and Saturday nights. Cost includes a 7-course menu for $85/person [plus tax and gratuity]. Optional beverage paring, curated by beverage director Rustun Nichols is also available.
Wild Turkey Bourbon Dinner
Join us as FYR Short North collaborates with Wild Turkey Bourbon for an extraordinary evening where the spirit of live fire cuisine meets the bold character of Wild Turkey Bourbon, featuring JoAnn Street, Brand Ambassador of Wild Turkey Distilling Co.
The experience will offer a 5-course dinner curated by Hilton Columbus Downtown's Executive Chef, Todd Goodwin. Each course is thoughtfully paired with fine whiskeys curated by our Beverage Director, Rustun Nichols. Guiding the evening, JoAnn will share insights from her distinguished career, family stories of her grandfather – Jimmy Russell, the "Buddha of Bourbon" and traditions of the meticulous craft of whiskey-making.
This one of a kind experience includes a 5-course menu served alongside luxury whiskey from Wild Turkey Bourbon for $150 per person [plus tax and gratuity].
Hilton Bourbon Trail
Step into a story of flavor with Hilton Columbus Downtown's Bourbon Trail, where each stop unveils a new chapter. For $50 per person, guests will explore four of our signature bars, enjoying a curated 0.5oz pour of premium Maker's Mark whiskey at each destination. Along the way, you'll savor nibbles at Stories on High, take home a keepsake tasting glass, and — discover a fifth rare pour that's waiting just for you. With every sip, every setting, and every story, this exclusive experience transforms our hotel into a tasting adventure unlike any other.
Cost includes four featured whiskey pairings, a whiskey tasting glass and nibbles in Stories on High.

Enjoy a front row view of the heart of our kitchen as you take your seat at our exclusive chef's table mere feet from the crackling embers and dancing flames. Your evening unfolds as a three-course choice menu, meticulously crafted to highlight the unique flavors imparted by live-fire cooking. For each course, you'll select from a curated offering of exquisitely prepared dishes, each telling a story of flame, smoke, and expert technique.
